Job Description

Summary As a program manager, your role is to lead and manage technology projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery of software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to plan, execute, and deliver projects within scope, budget, and schedule. Your primary goal is to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of technology projects while managing risks, resolving issues, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. Responsibilities Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies. Identify and manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Team Management: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business analysts. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure collaboration and. effective communication among team members. Monitor team performance and address any performance issues or conflicts. Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication with project stakeholders, including clients, executives, and team members. Provide regular project updates, manage expectations, and address any concerns or issues. Ensure stakeholders are informed of project progress, risks, and changes. Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, track project expenses, and ensure efficient resource allocation. Work closely with finance and procurement teams to ensure project costs are controlled and aligned with approved budgets. Identify resource needs and negotiate resource allocation with stakeholders. Project Execution: Oversee the execution of project activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines. Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and take corrective actions as necessary. Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Establish quality standards, conduct regular project reviews, and manage the testing and validation processes. Ensure compliance with industry best practices and quality guidelines. Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Proactively address issues, resolve conflicts, and escalate concerns when necessary. Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, requirements, and timelines. Assess the impact of change requests and work with stakeholders to evaluate alternatives and make informed decisions. Communicate changes effectively to the project team and stakeholders. Project Documentation: Create and maintain project documentation, including project charters, requirements documents, project plans, and status reports. Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or in a similar project management role. PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership and team management experience. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools
