Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technician to perform technical tasks, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and support in operations. The Technician will play a vital role in ensuring equipment, systems, or processes function effectively, safely, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment or systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and service reports.
- Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and service goals.
- Respond to service requests or breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification preferred.
- 13 years of experience in a technical or maintenance role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems (depending on role).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, or manuals.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or on-call as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to [e.g., 50 lbs].
- Comfortable working in industrial or field environments (e.g., noise, heat, confined spaces).
- Standing, walking, bending, and using hands/tools for extended periods.
