Job Description
- In this role you will build a flexible and scalable foundation for launching new business applications
- We are seeking a strong Senior Java Developer with good technical expertise, to be responsible for the backend development distributed platform for one of the largest world-leading retailers
- You will be working as a key member of this collaborative team with a group of experts recognized around the world
- This is an excellent opportunity to play a role as a key contributor in creating the next generation of network-centric distributed and scalable architectures
- We work with bleeding-edge technologies, including J2EE, building microservices, variety of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google cloud platform etc
- , OO Programming, using Agile Development Methodology and much more
Essential functions
- Participate in the design and development of web application from requirements analysis to production.
- Constantly improve software quality (evaluate and incorporate new libraries, tools, and technologies; code reviews; refactoring; testing; etc.)
- Analyze and improve application performance
- Search for simple and robust solutions to complex tasks
- Work in an Agile methodology environment where innovation, teamwork, and creativity are the key to success
Qualifications
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Have 10 to 16 years of total work experience
- Tech Stack : - Java 17, Spring Boot 3.0.6, Microservices, Maven, MS Azure(K8s, Functions), Splunk, NoSQL(Mongo DB, Cosmos DB), GraphQL(Netflix DGS 6.0.5).
- Nice to have : docker, ubuntu image, Kubernetes
- Strong ability to abstract complex problems to their essential components and design and implement elegant solutions for them
- Robust OO Programming and OO Design concepts knowledge
- Delivery Focused using Agile Development Methodology (Scrum/Kanban)
- Need to be a team player while having the capacity to work independently
- Strong analytical and logical skills including troubleshooting
- Good interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good English both verbal and written skills are a must
