As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our companys product development process, contributing to the design and development of mechanical components while driving innovation through comprehensive research. Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and assemblies in accordance with project requirements and specifications. Utilize Solid Edge and AutoCAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D models of mechanical designs. Translate conceptual ideas and. requirements into feasible, detailed designs with a focus on functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness. Conduct thorough research to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, integrating innovative solutions into design processes. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration and successful implementation of designs. Generate technical drawings, schematics, and documentation to support manufacturing processes and facilitate effective communication across teams. Participate in design reviews, offering insights, feedback, and recommendations to enhance product performance and quality. Conduct design validation tests, analyze results, and iterate designs as necessary to meet performance criteria and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate records of design iterations, modifications, and project progress, adhering to documentation and version control protocols. Stay abreast of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to mechanical design and engineering practices
