Services are provided from delivery centers in North America and India. Role Description This is a contract Network Engineer (Forcepoint) role, located on-site in Bengaluru. As a Network Engineer, you will need to. be able to troubleshoot network problems, configure and maintain network devices, and maintain network security. You will also be responsible for ensuring the network is operating and performing optimally, and will need to collaborate with other members of the IT team to ensure the network is properly integrated with other systems. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role. CCNA (must have) / CCNP with Forcepoint certification is preferred. Knowledge on various DC Architecture (DC-DR, Active-Active DC etc.) Strong documentation skills, ability to create understandable lasting Network Maps and document procedures to upgrade and design. Hands-on experience with Forcepoint technologies and firewall platforms. Strong understanding of network security protocols. Experience with configuring and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and other specialized network devices. Experience in network security technologies including SSL VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and web filtering solutions. Understanding of network architecture concepts and network topologies. Ability to interpret network diagrams and troubleshoot network problems. Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences. In-depth knowledge of wider network ecosystem including: Forcepoint Firewall & Proxy (Primary Skill- Must have) Palo Alto Firewall (Good to have) Knowledge of Network Routing & Switching
