Job Description

• Key Responsibilities:

  1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis: BSAs are responsible for understanding and documenting business requirements. They conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops with stakeholders to gather information about current processes, challenges, and goals. Analyzing these requirements helps in identifying potential solutions that align with business objectives.

  2. System Design and Documentation: Once requirements are gathered, BSAs create detailed system design documents. These documents outline the specifications for the development or modification of systems. They work closely with both technical and non-technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of the proposed solutions.

  3. Technology Evaluation: Business Systems Analysts assess and evaluate existing or new technologies that can address the identified business needs. This involves staying updated on industry trends, understanding the organization's infrastructure, and recommending appropriate technologies.

  4. Process Improvement: BSAs are tasked with identifying opportunities for process improvement. They analyze workflows, business processes, and systems to find areas where efficiency can be enhanced. By recommending and implementing improvements, they contribute to the optimization of business operations.

  5. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Effective communication and collaboration are essential aspects of the role. BSAs work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, users, and IT teams, to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and project goals.   6. Testing and Quality Assurance: Business Systems Analysts are involved in the testing phase of projects to ensure that the implemented solutions meet the specified requirements.
