Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Optical & Thermal Simulation Engineer with hands-on experience in Ansys SPEOS and Simcenter FloEFD to support end-to-end simulation, design, and validation of automotive optical systems, including lighting, sensors, and displays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform optical simulations using Ansys SPEOS for lighting performance, photometry, and stray light analysis
• Conduct thermal simulations using Simcenter FloEFD to evaluate heat dissipation, material impact, and deformation
• Optimize illumination systems (light guides, lenses, reflectors, diffusers)
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate designs
• Validate simulation results with experimental data
• Create technical reports and documentation
  

Required Skills & Tools:

• Strong expertise in Ansys SPEOS and Simcenter FloEFD
• Solid understanding of optical design, light propagation, and thermal managemen
• Knowledge of additional tools like Ansys Mechanical, Fluent, or COMSOL is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
  

Preferred Experience:

• Automotive lighting, LiDAR, AR/VR system design
  
• Experimental validation of simulation results
  
• Understanding of industry standards and compliance
