• Reporting to Sr. G.M Engineering & Design
• Location of Posting Aerospace Park - Bangalore

• Qualification & Experience BE / Postgraduate in Tool design or Post Diploma in Tool Design

15 20 Years experience in Progressive Tool Design and Product development

• Job Description
• Lead Engineering & Design Department with a team comprising of Design and Project managers handling RFQs, Tool & Process Development , Proto parts Development and Testing
• Ensure RFQs and Product Development are delivered as per customer requirement
• Explore innovative Tool design concepts to maximize Yield with optimum process design to attract the new business.
• Pro actively pursue and develop new technologies which are relevant to business to stay ahead of competition
• Develop Design Automation for improving the lead time of RFQ ,Tool Design and Product development.

Functional Technical Skills

• Thorough Knowledge on Press and its operations, Tool Design , Tooling Materials , Tool Manufacturing and program management
• Knowledge on Electro Plating , Welding , Machining and Heat Treatment essential
• Knowledge on Carbide tooling and High speed stamping is preferred.
• Exposure to 3D modelling and analysis would be added advantage
