Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics
• 10+ year experience or understanding of traction or propulsion systems, specifically for railway applications.
• Knowledge of power electronics and high voltage applications, specifically IGBT based solutions.
• Executing traction system projects with cross-functional teams, stretching from mechanical design, software implementation, to electrical design and specifically power electronics
• Technically lead and drive the railway traction scope within the engineering team
• Delivering the right traction performance and reliability for the train based by utilising your power electronics expertise
• Drive and deliver the project from end to end: Conceptual design, Requirements management, interface management, design implementation, test and validation including commissioning
• Managing high voltage application projects from conception to deployment
