Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our MarComm team as a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager. In this key role, you will be responsible for you will play a pivotal role in advancing media relations, thought leadership initiatives, utilizing media intelligence for strategic insights, conducting research for whitespace mapping, and establishing and tracking measurement metrics. Additionally, you will also drive content creation, social media engagement, stakeholder communications and marketing collateral development. Key Responsibilities: 1. Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with local, regional and national media outlets. Draft press releases, articles, and other materials to promote ECHO India's initiatives and achievements. 2. Thought Leadership: Develop and execute thought-leadership content strategies to showcase ECHO Indias expertise and insights in relevant areas like healthcare and education. Identify speaking opportunities, conferences, and partnerships to enhance thought leadership. 3. Media Intelligence and Research: Utilize media intelligence tools to monitor and analyze media coverage. Conduct research for whitespace mapping to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges in relevant sectors. 4. Content Creation and Management: Create compelling and engaging content for various platforms, including website, social media, newsletters, and press releases. Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights for content development. Oversee the creation of collaterals such as brochures, presentations, and reports. Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all collaterals. 5. Social Media Engagement: Develop and implement social media strategies to increase ECHO India's online presence and engagement. Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content and engagement strategies. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, humanities, or a related field. Masters/Post Graduate Diploma in Communications, Public Relations preferred. 3-5 years of experience in communications and outreach roles, preferably in development sector organisations. Proven track record in developing and implementing successful media relations, thought leadership and communication strategies. Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail. Experience in managing social media platforms and analyzing performance metrics. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically. Demonstrated expertise in media intelligence, research, and measurement metrics.
