We are Gates Position Summary The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organizations products and/or development processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below. Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery. Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products. Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff. Coordinate's product testing processes. Participates in product testing. Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues. Review's client, customer, and user feedback. Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies. Performs other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities The incumbent reports to Plant Manager and has people handling responsibility for a team of 1 or more team members. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. BE/ BTech (Masters will be preferable) in Engineering Must have a minimum of 10~12 years experience related field with supervisory experience a plus.
