Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead business development efforts for irrigation projects in rural areas of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of water command systems, rural infrastructure development, and government project execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Strategy: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in irrigation projects, aligning with company objectives.
  • Market & Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with government agencies, contractors, and local stakeholders to drive project acquisition.
  • Project Feasibility & Execution: Assess technical and financial feasibility of irrigation projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Water Command System Expertise: Leverage knowledge of water command systems to optimize project planning and execution.
  • Regional Knowledge & Expansion: Utilize deep understanding of rural development in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra to drive successful project implementation.
  • Tender & Proposal Management: Lead the preparation of bids, proposals, and presentations for irrigation projects.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, procurement, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's/Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development for irrigation projects or infrastructure development.
  • Strong knowledge of water command systems and rural infrastructure.
  • Proven track record in government project acquisition and execution.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
