JOB PURPOSE
Execute sales, marketing and pricing activity as per targets set and guidelines
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure implementation of sales strategies.
Identify new customers / opportunities and direct sales efforts in that direction.
Active sales with Key Accounts and big customers.
Follow-up on the telemarketing leads by Customer Service.
Achievement of Sales and Revenue targets.
Giving advance information about expected bookings.
Report to the Manager on budget performance / variance.
Reporting to Senior Management on trade development and competition activities.
Expansion of the customer spread and new customer creation.
Credit evaluation of customers.
Assist in Marketing Plans / Budget preparations.
Report on budget performance / variance through weekly bookings.
Follow up on outstanding payments.
Keep updated on competition activities and details.
Business promotion with existing customers.
Generate nominations and Sales Leads.
Apart from the duties and responsibilities listed above, any other additional duties as advised by the management from time to time.
KEY RESULT AREAS
1. Collection of dues on time from the customers
2. Self-monitoring bookings vis a vis target
3. Monitoring containers picked up by shippers but not returned.
4. Monitoring of Containers booked but not picked up.
5. Achievement of Sales, Revenue and volume targets
YELLOW LINES
1. All enquiries and quotations to customers only through new Oracle system
2. Complying with pricing parameters.
3. Adherence to the documentation and operational norms
4. Check with Logistics daily on equipment availability to suitably release bookings
KPI
1. Revenue generation of 4 times of CTC offered.
2. Two new customers every month.
3. Volume and shipment target given by management.
4. Completion of collection targets.
5. Generation of minimum 5 sales leads per month.

Educational Qualification(s):
Graduate or post graduate
Prior Experience:
2-6 years
