Product Development Manager - Data Science @ Epiq Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Product Development Manager with a strong experience in Machine Learning for leading a team of machine learning engineers and data scientists to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and solutions for our company.

You will also be responsible for staying up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning, (specifically LLMs) and artificial intelligence and sharing your knowledge and expertise with the wider community. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, software engineering, data engineering, and business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver high-quality ML solutions. You will also be responsible for managing the team's performance, guiding their career development, and ensuring a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of machine learning engineers and data scientists to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence and share your knowledge and expertise with the wider community.
• Lead research on the latest techniques and methods in Chat GPT - Deep Learning and NLP-Natural Language Processing technologies.
• Define and implement ML engineering best practices and processes.
• Manage the team's performance, provide feedback, and guide their career development.
• Ensure a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Ensure the security and privacy of the machine learning models and data.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, software engineering, data engineering, and business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver high-quality ML solutions.

Requirements / Skills :

• Bachelors / masters degree in information or computer science required B.Tech, MCA, MS Computers.
• 7+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or related field
• Good knowledge of AI/ML Model Development, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence Technologies, and Natural Language Processing
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or other programming languages
• Experience with data science tools including Python scripting, CUDA, numpy, scipy, matplotlib, scikit-learn, bash scripting and Linux environment.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art ML algorithms such as BERT, ELMo, GPT, GPT-3, ChatGPT XLNET, T5, LSTMs, CRFs, ONNX etc., APIs, and open-source methods.
• Hands-on knowledge of OpenAI and ChatGPT
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Data management and Metadata management tools is a plus.
• Strong thought leadership and public speaking skills and ability to work collaboratively.
