Roles and Responsibilities
As leader of our activities in India, the Country Manager India will assess the business
strategy and develop an action plan to lead into its next growth phase.
Responsible for developing a long-term strategic plan, aligned with the Division Strategy, to enhance
the Companys competitive positioning and promote new orders, sales, profitability, quality and
growth in the country.
Identify areas of opportunity for short and long-term change to improve profitability and reduce lead times in all functional areas.
Leverage the Companys strengths and address any weaknesses to create a strategically
sustainable growth platform that will meet future growth objectives.
Provide leadership and direction to the organization to inspire teamwork and confidence.
Implement 4DX in his company at company and department level.
Assess the management team on a regular basis, leveraging talent and expertise to best accomplish
Establish company annual sales and overhead budget in accordance with company guidelines.
Forecasting, projecting trends and monitoring overhead expenses to proactively direct the financial
viability of the overall business to optimize revenues and profits.
Create a culture focused on results, quality and personal accountability in alignment with the values and policies of the global market.
Maintain and / or improve the Company Brand profile and image in the market place.
Provide ongoing, detailed and substantive communication and reporting to
Management.
Complete special projects as required by the President
Desired Candidate Profile
Education & Training: (subject + level)
Engineering Degree and/or graduate in business management;
Bachelors Degree from a four-year university in sales or business;
Four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience. Masters Degree preferred.
Experience:
Prior senior level management experience. Expertise and detailed understanding of machine tool
technology or metal working machinery sector, or closely related area as well as sales experience and
market knowledge.
Language: (+required level)
Fluent (oral and written) in Indian and English, both on a very high level.
IT skills:
Knowledge and proficient experience with Microsoft Office Systems, including Excel, Word and Power
Point.
Personal skills:
To perform the job successfully, the individual should be a leader who is inspirational and collaborative
and demonstrates the following skills:
Planning/Organizing: Prioritizes and plans work activities and additional resources; completes
tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
