We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer Lead with expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, high-performance backend solutions. A strong foundation in database management, containerization, orchestration, and cloud technologies is highly desirable.

Mandatory Skills
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.
- Strong understanding of MongoDB, including version upgrades and best practices.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong communication skills (must have)
Desirable Skills
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud services, especially AWS.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Monitoring and logging expertise using the Grafana Prometheus Stack or ElasticStack.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes scaling patterns and configuration.
- Familiarity with microservice orchestration patterns and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.
- Design and implement scalable and maintainable microservices.
- Update the central database from MongoDB 6 to MongoDB 7, with a focus on adapting the business logic and performing extensive testing to ensure system stability and integrity.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of systems, incorporating patterns for microservice orchestration and scaling in Kubernetes.
