Job Description
We are building a team focused on delivering a world-class developer experience and have immediate openings for Technical Writers to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. You will join a newly formed team who will work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and marketing professionals to make our products easier to use.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Produce detailed and professional user documentation including user guides and software configuration manuals.
- Produce technical documents that highlight product architecture and product flow
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
- Write easy-to-understand product documentation and developer guides for customers in the United States and globally
- Create tutorials, guides, and use cases that help end-users become familiar with the ConvergePoint product offering.
- Develop and implement documentation best practices and standards
- Capture complex technical information and present it in clear, concise, and simple language suitable to the target audience.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation (3 to 6 Years).
- Experience with software product writing is highly desired. Experience with maintaining content for multiple products and versions is desired.
- Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
- Excellent written skills. Must have experience writing content for a US-based audience.
- Must have excellent communication skills and experience interacting with both Indian and US-based teams.
- Confident communicator with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple language.
- Must have excellent skills with Microsoft Office.
- Must have basic graphic design skills to present data in visual formats.
- Any experience with creating walk-through videos and screen capture videos is desired.
