Job Description


Previous Professional Training/ Education

Minimum 3yrs exp with Hotel Management Diploma/Bachelor's Degree preferred(or 5yrs of work exp)


Skills

Specialization of Cuisine, Understanding of safe food handling(Food temp, HSEQ standards)


Ability

  • Responsible for preparation of food as per the menu with minimum wastage
  • Completion of relevant paperwork- food and refrigerator temperature, etc in the absence of

Supervisor

  • Ensure all food sent out is of proper temperature and on time
  • Understand and adhere to Standard operating procedure (SOP) for hygiene, portion control,

preparation, storage, PPE, discarding methods.

  • Ensure food prepared is of desired quality, delicious and nutritious
  • Awareness and ensure adequate separation of allergens
  • Maintain a high level of quality standards.
  • Ensure the kitchen and service areas are clean
  • Check and record food temperature
  • Help in receiving material from the store- take indent to store and get material accordingly
  • Helping Commis III and Commis II in developing their on the job skills set
  • Able to manage bulk cooking
