TCS IS HIRING FOR UNIX SYSTEM ADMIN

Role: L3 Unix SA

Required Technical Skill Set :Unix Administration

Experience Range: 5-12 Yrs(Relevant)

Location: Chennai/Hyderabad/Bangalore/Pune

JD:

Must-Have:

• 5 to 12 years of Unix RedHat experience, Veritas Clusters. Troubleshooting servers, booting, Kernel basics, Memory management etc.
• Basic Qualifications: -5+ years of RHEL 6, RHEL 7, Windows 2012 and Windows 2016 / UNIX/ UNIX Support
• 4+ years Ruby, Python, PL/SQL, PowerShell, and Bash
• 3+ years of Chef/Ansible Automation
• 1 year of Kickstart, Firewalls, Hypervisors and Routers
• 1 year of Log mining & analytics using Splunk
• 1 year of PostgreSQL, Oracle, Apache, Tomcat and Nginx
• Comfortable with frequent, incremental code, testing and deployment.
• Ability to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment.
• Preferences: -Understanding and implementation of RESTful, SOAP and SDK APIs -Understanding of Jenkins, Git, Chef

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role :

• UNIX RED HAT experience with core background of Unix, Develop Ansible playbooks and modules
• Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration and provide SME level support -Develop, configure and administer DevOps and IT automation solutions
• Understand and remediate complex issues and topologies of large enterprises
• Provide technical support to IT ops around automation solution usage
• Provide solutions and technical implementation aligned with the automation program objectives -Develop Chef/Ansible artifacts, troubleshoot issues and work on implementing configuration management roadmap of the organization
