FMCG - General Manager/ Manager (Sales / Marketing)
A conglomerate having pan India presence is on lookout for a GM and Manager Sales/Marketing for its premium brand of Mouth Freshener (a new invention Mouth Freshener without Beetle Nut).
The position is located at Pune, Maharashtra.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Take ownership of setting up distributors as per company policy guidelines in the new areas within assigned territory.
2. Take ownership of sustaining/growing sales revenue by setting/monitoring sales fundamentals monthly, quarterly & yearly.
3. Facilitate and develop strong distribution channel network.
4. To formulate sales strategies with distribution plan & management of sales force to achieve growth.
5. To develop highly collaborative client relationship by providing excellent customer service and establish strong relationship which results into generation of repeated business through successful follow up.
6. To provide senior management on updates regarding sales targets and projects (existing & new expansion plans).
7. Resolve customer complaints in coordination with Sales Officers by investigating problems, developing solutions and suggesting management w.r.t key sales metrics and escalate them to upper vertical.
8. Coordinate the business plan with top leadership thin tank in conjunction with Sales Officers and Sales Executives.
9. Train the sales team and nurture relationships with sales force in order to help them achieve their goals.
10. Assess at ground level customer needs and suggest solutions that can be retained and which can expand product lines that yield maximum profitability. Suggest the updating and integration of product packaging that increase retail sales
11. Recruit train and nurture a high performance sales team.
12. Entire business planning and performance management
13. Exploring potential business avenues in exports & managing marketing & sales operations
14. Analyzing latest marketing trends, tracking competitors' activities
15. Conceptualizing strategic new product development plans.
