Job Description

Our client is a D2C brand that produces specialty health and nutrition products. Launched in 2019, the healthcare startup today has over 100 products in the nutrition, wellness, and beauty space with a presence in more than 15 cities in the offline space as well as online through their own website and on all marketplaces.
The company is founded by veterans in the D2C space and the pharma manufacturing space. Their lead investor is one of the largest conglomerates in India that has large businesses in FMCG and IT sectors. With a strong and investors backing it, the brand is witnessing a 25% month-on-month growth in their topline and is on track to be a 100 cr brand within the next 2 years.
As an Online Sales Head, you will be responsible for driving and achieving the annual business plan of online sales by developing effective marketing and product strategy.
What you will do:
- Owning the ecommerce website of the brand
- Providing inputs for technology, newer products, marketing trends and competitive insight into the business
- Managing and taking ownership of department-wide online eCommerce strategy and P&L entities to enhance online shopper experience
- Managing the overall user experience, including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns
- Observing market trends and online sales data to develop sales forecasts which they use to build effective strategies
- Developing the effective planning and execution of an ecommerce strategy, working cross-functionally with teams to ensure quality and timely publishing of all web content
- Participating in building and directing a team of ecommerce professionals that can effectively help in developing and executing creative ecommerce solutions
- Directing integrated campaigns that will deliver an increase in conversion rates, overall order size and managing margin performance across a variety of product lines
- Owning and managing internet marketing solutions, social media integration, search engine optimization (SEO) and other monitoring methodologies and analytics
- Providing thought leadership, innovation and process optimization initiatives such as implementing ecommerce software and other industry best practices
- Identifying new areas of ecommerce opportunities beyond current brand offering
Desired Candidate Profile
What you need to have:
- 5+ years of experience of handling D2C brand
- Experience in preparing annual operating plans as well as sales plans
- Expertise in the industry and product
- Understanding of Finance, Warehousing and IT Operations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Developing and designing online and email marketing campaigns
- Experience in affiliate marketing
- Knowledge of SEO, Digital Advertising, Google Ads, Facebook Ads
- Keenness to work in a fast-paced unstructured environment in a rapidly growing industry
