Hiring Quality Engineer - Manual and Automation for a fintech firm in Bangalore.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position: Quality Engineer Manual and Automation
Location: Bangalore
Experience criteria: 3 to 4 Years
Qualification: B.Tech, BSc(IT), BE & relevant streams
CTC: As per company standards
Responsibilities:
- Understanding system and requirements
- Identifying the test cases
- Preparation of test case
- Setting-up test environment
- Creating test data required for testing
- System testing of the product/Game
- Test execution
- Logging defects into the defect-tracking tool and following them up to closure
- Testing the product with a users perspective and suggesting enhancements and changes appropriately
- Verification/regression of fixed bugs
- Documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Overall 3-4 years of experience in software testing
- Strong manual and automation testing skills is a must
- Automating UI using Selenium Web driver/Grid
- Hands-on scripting (automation) experience in JAVA or similar
- Experience in maintaining test frameworks, automation scripts and manual test cases
- Knowledge and experience working with RDBMS and SQL queries
- Experience in QA test technologies such as JUnit, TestNG or equivalent technologies
- Strong reporting and analytical skills
- Exposure to at least few of the mentioned areas. Robot framework, Maven/POM, Test NG, API/Micro Service, PostMan, soapUI and RestAssured.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of various SW development technologies & their potential
- Knowledge of various testing tools and frameworks
- Being technology agnostic - With the current scenario, employees with multiple technology background add more value
- Adequate knowledge of Operating systems (Windows and UNIX), Browsers, RDBMS
- Goes through technical newsgroups and Blogs to keep to him/her updated and also contributes these Blogs and newsgroups
