Job description

• Manage all F&B day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
• Be aware of new culinary trends and recipes
• Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
• Design exceptional menus, purchase goods and create new entrees for the menu
• Identify customers needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
• Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
• Establish targets, KPIs, schedules, policies and procedures
• Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
• Monitor the food cost of the property is within the set company objective and set goals.
• Plan and manage food quantities and plating requirements for the kitchen outlet
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP and local municipality legislation/requirements.
• Prepare weekly work schedule as per hotel requirements.
• Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
• Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints.
