Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Lead complete MEP execution for multi-specialty hospital and healthcare projects across Pan India locations.
- Manage planning, design coordination, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of all MEP systems.
- Oversee HVAC systems including OT HVAC, clean rooms, isolation rooms, pressure control systems, and medical gas coordination.
- Ensure execution of electrical systems including HT/LT panels, DG backup, UPS, nurse call systems, ELV, IBMS, and critical healthcare utilities.
- Supervise plumbing, firefighting, water treatment, STP, WTP, and medical utility infrastructure as per hospital standards.
- Coordinate with hospital planners, consultants, biomedical teams, architects, civil teams, and contractors for smooth project delivery.
- Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines, budgets, quality standards, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Monitor project schedules, manpower deployment, procurement plans, vendor management, billing, and cost control activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections, progress reviews, risk assessments, and technical audits across multiple project locations.
- Ensure compliance with NABH, NBC, fire safety, infection control, and healthcare engineering standards.
- Lead testing & commissioning activities for all MEP services including integrated system testing for hospital operations.
- Resolve technical and coordination issues related to critical care areas such as OTs, ICUs, labs, imaging centers, and emergency departments.
- Drive quality assurance, safety practices, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Preferred candidate profile
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to project specifications and service standards.
- Prepare MIS reports, project dashboards, progress presentations, and updates for senior management and clients.
- Support value engineering, technical evaluations, BOQ verification, tender reviews, and project budgeting activities.
- Ensure smooth project closeout, snag rectification, statutory approvals, as-built documentation, and client handover.
- Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and site teams across multiple hospital projects nationwide.
- Travel extensively across India for project reviews, stakeholder meetings, and execution monitoring.
