Project Manager / Senior Project Manager Data & Analytics
Role Overview
We are looking for a high-performing Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of Data Engineering, Analytics, BI, and Cloud transformation programs within our Information Analytics (IA) practice.This role requires a hybrid delivery leader who can operate across Project Management, Agile leadership, Product ownership, and Delivery governance, while managing customer engagements and internal innovation initiatives.The ideal candidate will have strong experience delivering data and analytics programs, exposure to modern cloud data platforms, and the ability to leverage AI-driven productivity tools to accelerate delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Program Delivery
- Manage end-to-end delivery of data engineering, analytics, and BI transformation initiatives.
- Drive project execution across Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps.
- Track delivery through KPIs, sprint metrics, and program dashboards.
- Manage risks, dependencies, escalations, and stakeholder communication.
2. Customer Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a primary interface between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership.
- Lead customer discussions on delivery planning, roadmap alignment, and solution strategy.
- Ensure transparency, governance, and reporting across customer engagements.
3. Agile & Product Leadership
- Play roles across Project Manager, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Delivery Manager depending on engagement needs.
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and program reviews.
- Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into product roadmaps and technical deliverables.
4. Data & Analytics Program Oversight
- Data Engineering & Data Lakes
- Data Migration & Modernization (Legacy Cloud)
- Data Integration & Acquisition
- BI & Reporting migrations
- Performance optimization of data platforms
- Data observability, governance, and quality initiatives
5. Technology & Platform Awareness
Cloud Platforms:
- AWS, Azure, GCP
Data Platforms:
- Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery
Data Integration & ETL:
- DBT, Airflow, Workato, MuleSoft
BI & Visualization:
- Tableau, Power BI, Looker
6. AI-Driven Delivery & Automation
- Leverage AI productivity tools and automation frameworks to improve project execution.
- Use modern AI assistants to accelerate documentation, estimation, reporting, and operational workflows.
- Explore AI-led innovations for analytics solutions and delivery optimization.
7. Innovation & Internal Initiatives
- Contribute to development of internal accelerators, frameworks, and reusable assets.
- Support innovation initiatives and internal product development within the IA practice.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices and operational efficiency.
Experience
- 1215 years of experience in technology delivery or program management.
- Proven experience managing data engineering, analytics, or BI programs.
