Sr. Cloud Security Engineer @ Kofax

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud architectures across Azure and AWS
• Define and enforce cloud security best practices, guardrails, and policies
• Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM), network security, encryption, and key management
• Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform for secure and repeatable deployments
• Build and automate security controls, compliance checks, and remediation workflows
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
• Monitor, detect, and respond to cloud security threats and incidents
• Perform cloud security risk assessments, threat modeling, and design reviews
• Partner with platform, DevOps, and application teams to embed security early
• Support audits, compliance requirements, and regulatory assessments
• Mentor junior engineers and provide cloud security thought leadership
• Utilize AI-enabled tools (e. g. , chatbots, document automation, analytics assistants) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and streamline routine tasks while following company AI governance and data privacy standards
