Job Description

TCS is hiring SAP ABAP on HANA Developers / Technical Consultants with strong handson experience in modern ABAP development and HANAoptimized coding practices. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting efficient, scalable SAP solutions while working closely with functional, technical, and business teams in ECC on HANA and S/4HANA environments.

Key Skills Required

SAP ABAP on HANA

ABAP 7.4+ / New ABAP Syntax

ObjectOriented ABAP (OOABAP)

RICEF objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms

CDS Views, AMDP (preferred)

Performance optimization and code pushdown concepts

ALV (OO & Classical), Smart Forms / Adobe Forms

OData Services and API integration

SAP Enhancements: User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs

Integration with SD, MM, FI, HR modules

Exposure to S/4HANA Migration / Custom Code Remediation preferred

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop ABAP programs optimized for SAP HANA

Build and support custom reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements

Apply HANA best practices such as CDS views and reduced data footprint

Perform debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization

Support ECC on HANA / S/4HANA implementations and upgrades

Collaborate with Functional, BASIS, and Testing teams

Support UAT, golive, and postproduction activities

Assist with SPAU/SPDD, remediation, and upgrade activities

Provide production support, enhancements, and defect fixes

Prepare technical documentation and follow development standards
