Job Description
Job Title: Analyst Reconciliation
Location: Chennai
Work Model: Hybrid
Shift: Rotational
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Analyst to manage reconciliation processes within SSC Reconciliation. The role involves handling daily operations, ensuring accuracy in reconciliations, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve breaks and improve process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations across business lines
- Identify and resolve breaks, mismatches, and variances within defined timelines
- Handle reconciliation activities for Clearing, Custody, Investment Fund Services, and Middle Office
- Investigate open items and liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders for resolution
- Ensure timely escalation of high-risk or aged breaks
- Work on Intellimatch for automated reconciliation, including rule creation and optimization
- Maintain static data, matching rules, and account setups in reconciliation systems
- Analyze SWIFT messages (MT940/950, MT535/536) for transaction matching
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field (MBA/M.Com preferred)
- Strong understanding of reconciliation processes and financial products
- Good knowledge of SWIFT messages and reconciliation tools (Intellimatch preferred)
- Preferred Experience:
- Experience in reconciliation, custody, or financial operations
- Exposure to investment banking or shared service environments
