Job Family Definition:
Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (e.g., Mergers Acquisitions). Drives the forecasting process (for USGAAP and local GAAP tax provisioning exercise) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives. Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organizations financial goals and policies. Has the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial results correctly both internally and externally. Ensures strong business controls.

Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitating information validation and team decision-making processes. Exercises independent judgement to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

- Provides complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making.
- Supports policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities.
- Identifies issues and proposes solutions.
- Represents finance on cross-functional teams.
- Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.
What you need to bring:
Education and Experience Required:
- Chartered Accountant preferred, with typically 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst in a controllership team
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of IndAS accounting principles and direct tax/GST knowledge is an added advantage
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Good business acumen.
Additional details
- Preparation of IndAS financial statements ( B/S, PL, Notes to accounts including cash flows) ; Support for Internal audits ICOFR.
- Preparation of Tax audits and Lead for Country GST accounting related compliances
- USGAAP MEC support including financial analysis of Trial balances for material flux, variance analysis
- Establishes and maintains relationships with various stakeholders - Tax team, MADO teams, Legal and business leaders to support decision-making.
- Supports USGAAP tax provision preparations and related submissions.
