Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium (Java/Python) or Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript/Python).
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of SAP applications.
- Automate test cases for SAP modules such as:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP ECC
- SAP Fiori / SAP UI5
- Validate SAP business processes and workflows through automated and manual testing.
- Work closely with functional consultants and developers to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Perform API testing for SAP services (OData, REST, SOAP).
- Execute test cycles, analyze results, and report defects using test management tools.
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Perform data validation and backend testing using SQL and SAP tables.
- Ensure test coverage for SAP upgrades, patches, and custom developments (RICEFW objects).
- Identify automation opportunities and improve test efficiency and coverage.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 59 years of experience in QA testing and automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Selenium WebDriver or
- Playwright
- Experience in testing SAP applications (S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori, or SAP CRM).
- Knowledge of SAP business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, etc.).
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, etc.).
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
- Proficiency in SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with Git/version control systems.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of STLC and defect lifecycle.
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with SAP testing tools (e.g., SAP TAO, Worksoft Certify, Tricentis Tosca).
- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 automation challenges and solutions.
- Knowledge of OData services and SAP integrations.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Exposure to performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter).
- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
- Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging or SAP tables.

Education
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
