Position: Business Systems Analyst / Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant
Experience: 68 Years
Department: IT Enterprise Applications / ERP (Finance Systems)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with strong techno-functional expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite R12. The role focuses on supporting and enhancing ERP systems related to billing, ordering, and financial processes, especially within the Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle and Accounts Receivable (AR) domain.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering
- Interact with stakeholders and business users to understand requirements
- Document functional specifications and translate business needs into system solutions
Order-to-Cash (O2C) Process Management
- Manage end-to-end O2C lifecycle:
- Order management
- Billing & invoicing
- Payment processing
- Ensure seamless integration of business processes within ERP
Accounts Receivable (AR) & Finance Modules
- Handle AR operations including:
- Invoice generation
- Receipts and collections
- Customer payment processing
- Work with GL (General Ledger) and AP (Accounts Payable) modules
ERP Configuration & Setup
- Configure Oracle EBS modules:
- Customer accounts
- Payment terms
- Invoice rules
- Align system configurations with business requirements
SQL & Data Analysis
- Write and execute SQL queries in Oracle database
- Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams
- Provide functional guidance and support
Production Support & Issue Resolution
- Investigate and resolve system issues related to billing and payments
- Support day-to-day ERP operations
Required Skills (Mandatory)
- Strong experience in Oracle EBS R12 (AR, AP, GL)
- In-depth knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes
- Hands-on experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Expertise in requirement gathering and stakeholder interaction
- Good knowledge of SQL in Oracle environment
- Techno-functional experience (functional + basic technical skills)
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with billing, ordering, or contracting systems
- Knowledge of system integrations/interfaces
- Exposure to reporting and analytics tools
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
