Job Description: JD Edwards Functional Consultant

Primary Skills

• Strong experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) and/or JDE World
• Functional expertise in:
• Manufacturing
• Supply Chain Management
• Order-to-Cash (OTC)
• Procurement / Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
• End-to-end implementation and configuration experience in JDE modules
• Strong business process understanding in manufacturing and supply chain domains
• Experience in requirement gathering and solution design

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience in JDE upgrades, enhancements, and rollouts
• Exposure to integrations and customizations with technical teams
• Knowledge of reporting tools (e.g., BI Publisher, One View Reporting)
• Basic understanding of JDE technical concepts (CNC, tables, interfaces)
• Experience in data migration and data validation
• Familiarity with Agile / Waterfall project methodologies

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional consulting and solution design across JDE modules (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, OTC, Procurement)
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements
• Configure and implement JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) / JDE World solutions
• Participate in end-to-end project lifecycle (implementation, upgrades, enhancements, support)
• Drive process improvements and recommend best practices
• Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, customizations, and reporting needs
• Support testing phases (SIT, UAT) and ensure successful deployments
• Provide post-go-live support and stabilization
• Troubleshoot functional issues and ensure business continuity

Good to Have Skills

• Experience in multi-country or global JDE implementations
• Knowledge of finance modules (optional but preferred)
• Exposure to third-party integrations (EDI, WMS, etc.)
• Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills
• Certification in JD Edwards (if any)
