Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist to manage software licensing, compliance, and optimization using ServiceNow SAM Pro. The role involves license lifecycle management, process governance, and cost optimization across enterprise software assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage software licenses for major publishers such as Microsoft, Adobe, Autodesk, and Atlassian.
• Perform license compliance audits, reconciliation, and maintain entitlements in ServiceNow SAM Pro.
• Define and document SAM processes and SOPs using Microsoft Visio.
• Maintain software catalogues and process software requests.
• Generate Effective License Position (ELP) reports and optimize license usage.
• Collaborate with IT, procurement, HR, and vendors for compliance and license management.
• Drive automation and process improvements within ServiceNow SAM Pro.
• Prepare monthly reports, dashboards, and governance documentation.

Mandatory Skills

ServiceNow SAM Pro, Software Asset Management (SAM) Processes, License Compliance, Software Lifecycle Management.

Good-to-Have Skills

ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM, Qualys, HAM Pro, CMDB, Microsoft Visio.
