 Key Accounts Manager

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

Account Ownership & Customer Relationship

  • Own and manage strategic OEM accounts end-to-end
  • Build long-term relationships with IT heads, Digital transformation leaders, and procurement teams
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and account stability

Revenue Growth & Business Development

  • Drive revenue growth, and account mining
  • Identify new opportunities across:
    • Digital transformation
    • Application development & modernization
    • Cloud, Data, AI/ML
    • DevOps & Platform Engineering
  • Lead proposal development, pricing strategy, and commercial negotiations
  • Own account-level revenue forecast, pipeline, and closure targets

Delivery & Governance

  • Work closely with delivery managers to ensure:
    • Successful execution of T&M, Project, and Managed Services engagements
    • SLA adherence and delivery excellence
  • Manage escalations and risks at account level
  • Participate in governance meetings, and executive reviews

Commercial & Contract Management

  • Lead commercial discussions including:
    • Rate cards, SoW, MSAs, Change Requests
    • Contract renewals and extensions
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and internal financial controls
  • Drive profitability and margin improvement at account level

OEM-Specific Engagement

  • Navigate complex OEM ecosystems involving multiple stakeholders
  • Understand OEM buying processes, vendor onboarding, and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate with procurement, legal, and finance for smooth contracting

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (mandatory)
  • MBA (Sales / Marketing / Strategy) preferred
  • 510 years of experience in Digital & IT services account management
  • Proven experience managing OEM customers
