Position Description
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Lead Architect to design and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions within a complex retail ecosystem. The role focuses on enabling omnichannel customer experiences, integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems, and driving innovation across the Salesforce platform.
The candidate will work closely with business, retail, and IT stakeholders to architect, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Your Future Duties and Responsibilities
Salesforce Solution Architecture
- Lead architecture and design of Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards
- Design and oversee integrations with Oracle Retail, BI platforms, eCommerce systems, and mobile applications
- Drive implementation of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and custom applications
Retail Domain Expertise
- Architect solutions to enhance customer engagement, loyalty, and personalization
- Integrate Salesforce with in-store systems, CRM tools, and retail applications
- Support retail business processes such as inventory management, order management, and marketing automation
Omnichannel Strategy
- Design and implement omnichannel solutions across eCommerce, mobile, and in-store platforms
- Integrate Salesforce with various customer touchpoints including portals, POS systems, and mobile apps
Leadership and Mentorship
- Lead and mentor Salesforce developers, administrators, and technical teams
- Provide architectural guidance and enforce best practices
- Ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solution delivery
Integrations and Data Management
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems (Oracle Retail, BI tools, AWS)
- Ensure data integrity, synchronization, and security across systems
- Optimize data management and governance processes
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with business, marketing, retail, and IT stakeholders
- Present architecture and solutions to senior leadership
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with Salesforce platform enhancements and industry trends
- Drive adoption of AI, ML, and automation within the Salesforce ecosystem
- Recommend and implement future-ready solutions
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience in Salesforce architecture and solution design
- Expertise in Salesforce Clouds: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Field Service Cloud
- Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce
- Strong integration experience using MuleSoft, REST, and SOAP APIs
- Retail domain expertise with omnichannel architecture experience
- Strong knowledge of data management, governance, and security best practices
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Oracle Retail integration
- Exposure to AWS cloud services and microservices architecture
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX and Git
- Knowledge of AI/ML and automation within Salesforce
- Experience in enterprise-scale digital transformation programs
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Required Qualifications to be Successful in this Role
- 10+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture and implementation
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Lead Architect role
- Proven experience in retail or wholesale domain
- Strong experience in Salesforce integrations with enterprise systems
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Certifications (Preferred)
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) / Application Architect
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- AWS Solutions Architect / DevOps Certification
- Oracle Retail Certifications
