Position: Senior Test Engineer- Senior Accessibility Tester

Your future duties and responsibilities
Expertise in manual accessibility testing, including keyboard navigation and assistive technology compatibility.
Proficiency in testing web and mobile applications across multiple browsers and platforms (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, iOS, Android).
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to accessibility.
Experience creating and executing detailed accessibility test cases and writing clear defect reports.
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla).
Good communication and collaboration skills to work with developers, designers, and product teams
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must have Skills
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (WCAG 2.0/2.1, Section 508, ADA compliance).
Hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools:
o Screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver)
o Automated accessibility testing tools (Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, Pa11y)

Understanding of API testing and how server responses impact accessibility compliance.
Experience with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.
Awareness of global accessibility laws and regulations beyond WCAG and Section 508 (e.g., EN 301 549, ADA).
Experience testing assistive technologies beyond screen readers, such as voice recognition software or alternative input devices.
Familiarity with performance testing tools and how accessibility can impact app performance.
Ability to conduct usability testing specifically focused on users with disabilities.
