Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives within government programs. The role involves managing end-to-end project lifecyclefrom solution design to deploymentwhile driving impactful technology adoption in tourism and MSME sectors.
The candidate will lead key modules including State Tourism Insights Unit (A4) and Digital Enablers Adoption by MSMEs (B5), ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complete project lifecycle (design, development, deployment)
- Drive digital transformation initiatives across government programs
- Oversee implementation of IT systems and digital platforms
- Manage stakeholder engagement including government authorities and agencies
- Ensure delivery of modules:
- State Tourism Insights Unit (A4)
- Digital Enablers for MSMEs (B5)
- Monitor project timelines, risks, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with project objectives and quality standards
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Handle reporting, documentation, and governance processes
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong experience in Project Management & Program Execution
- Expertise in Digital Transformation & IT System Implementation
- Experience in Government / e-Governance Projects
- Knowledge of IT Solution Architecture
- Experience in Externally Aided Projects (World Bank, ADB, etc.)
- Strong stakeholder and team management skills
Experience
- 15+ years of experience in IT systems development/implementation
- Minimum 10 years in Government projects
- Experience in at least 2 technology transformation projects in:
- Tourism / Urban / Social / Economic sectors
Educational Qualification
- B.Tech (IT) / MCA Mandatory
- Additional Post-Graduation / Diploma in relevant field Preferred
Certifications (Preferred)
- Certification in IT Solution Architecture
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile Certifications
Language Requirement
- Hindi & English (Read, Write, Speak)
