Job Description
As the Lead - SAP ABAP, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and supporting SAP applications across various modules. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will be instrumental in delivering efficient and scalable SAP solutions. You will collaborate closely with functional teams to understand their requirements and provide effective technical solutions. Your responsibilities will include guiding and mentoring junior developers, ensuring code quality, and driving innovation within the SAP ABAP development team.- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP programming, including OOP concepts, ABAP Dictionary, and SAP UI technologies.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its development environment is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex SAP issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
- A proactive and innovative mindset, with a track record of driving technical excellence.
- Lead and manage a team of SAP ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP solutions across various modules, ensuring high-quality code and efficient performance.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP ABAP issues, providing timely support and maintenance.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and drive innovation within the team.
- Document and maintain technical documentation for SAP ABAP projects, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the skills of the SAP ABAP team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting open communication and continuous improvement.
