Lead - Sap-sap Abap Gateway (odata) @ Bristlecone

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking an experienced and talented SAP ABAP Gateway (OData) Lead to join our S4 HANA Technical - Delivery department. In this role, you will lead a team of developers, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure the successful design, development, and implementation of SAP backend integrations and OData services. Your leadership and mentorship will be key in driving our technical solutions and fostering a high-performing team.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on SAP Gateway and OData services.
• Proven experience in leading and managing SAP ABAP development teams.
• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA and its integration capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Gateway, OData services, and Fiori integrations.
• Excellent understanding of SAP ABAP programming, including OOP concepts.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform and SAP HANA is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering efficient solutions.
• Effective communication and leadership skills to mentor and guide team members.
• A proactive and innovative approach to technology and a passion for continuous learning.

• Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP Gateway (OData) developers, providing technical direction and guidance.
• Design and develop SAP backend integrations and OData services, ensuring high-quality and efficient solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement and optimize SAP Gateway and OData services, focusing on performance, scalability, and security.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure best practices are followed, and maintain high code quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP Gateway and OData integrations.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and drive innovation within the team.
• Document and communicate technical designs, ensuring clear and concise documentation.
• Provide pre-sales support, participate in client engagements, and contribute to proposal development.
