Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong experience in QA automation and a solid understanding of modern testing frameworks and CI/CD processes The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in building automation frameworks, executing tests across browsers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software in a fast-paced agile environment
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using TypeScript/JavaScript and tools such as Playwright (or similar frameworks)
Implement and execute cross-browser and parallel test automation strategies to ensure scalability and performance
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to integrate automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline
Conduct API testing (REST APIs), validate JSON payloads, and ensure end-to-end test coverage
Identify, report, and track defects through their lifecycle while maintaining high-quality standards
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices, tooling, and processes
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
Required Skills & Experience
2 to 5 years of professional experience in QA automation or SDET roles
Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools
Experience with cross-browser testing, parallel execution, and test environment configuration
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control best practices
Experience testing REST APIs, working with JSON, and automating backend validations
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
Preferred Skills
Exposure to AI/ML or analytics platforms, particularly those involving Natural Language Processing (NLP)
Experience with Docker, containerization, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Web automation skills
