Major Roles & Responsibilities
Preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts
Measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes and standards
Designing and developing new bakery items and menus
Monitoring baking times, temperatures, and product quality
Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are followed
Decorating cakes and pastries with creativity and precision
Managing inventory of ingredients and placing orders when required
Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
Supervising junior bakery staff and coordinating daily tasks
Controlling portion sizes and minimizing food wastage
