Major Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and bake breads, cakes, pastries, and desserts.
Develop and follow bakery recipes and production schedules.
Decorate cakes and pastries with creative presentation techniques.
Ensure freshness, quality, and consistency of baked products.
Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen.
Manage bakery ingredients, inventory, and storage.
Operate and maintain baking equipment properly.
Monitor portion control and minimize food wastage.
Train and supervise junior bakery staff when required.
Create new bakery items based on customer preferences and trends.
