We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager for Clinical Nutrition Business i.e. Healthcare division to lead and drive our sales efforts, PAN India.
Sales Manager Healthcare Division (PAN India)
Reporting To Vice President Sales Marketing
To lead and drive the domestic Healthcare sales strategy across India, ensuring achievement of revenue, market share, and profitability targets. The role is responsible for building an efficient and effective sales force, supporting with robust distribution network, and leading high-performing sales teams across regions.
Sales Strategy Business Growth
- Develop and execute PAN India sales strategy aligned with business objectives
- Drive top-line growth, market penetration, and profitability
- Identify new markets, channels, and growth opportunities
- Lead new product launches and market expansion initiatives
PAN India Sales Operations
- Lead nationwide sales operations across Zonal / Regional / Area teams
- Deliver primary and secondary sales targets
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities
- Ensure effective sales planning, forecasting, and execution
Distribution Channel Management
- Expand and strengthen distribution network across India
- Manage multi-channel presence:
- Pharma healthcare channels
- Drive channel partner engagement and performance
Institutional Key Account Management
- Build and manage relationships with:
- Hospitals and healthcare institutions
- Doctors, dieticians, and nutrition experts
- Large distributors and key accounts
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop national sales team
- Define KPIs and drive performance management
- Build strong field force capability and productivity
- Ensure alignment and accountability across regions
- Developing internal talent
Financial Commercial Management
- Own sales budgeting, forecasting, and revenue planning
- Ensure profitability and margin management
- Monitor collections, receivables, and credit control
- Optimize costs and sales efficiency
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR Team
- Ensure product availability and demand planning
- Support development of market-relevant products
Qualifications Experience
- MBA / Postgraduate in Sales Marketing (preferred)
- 18 20 years of experience in sales, with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Experience in managing PAN India sales operations in Hospital Business preferably Critical care, Oncology or Nephrology
- Industry exposure: Nutraceuticals / Pharma / Healthcare
