Airtel  Territory Sales Manager- Mass Retail

Job Description

Job Purpose

Take charge of an entire territory and lead the prepaid business by increasing Customer market share and Revenue market share. Execute the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy through a robust distribution network.


Key responsibilities

  • Expand distribution and sales network by maximising SIM and Data selling outlets in the assigned territory
  • Ensure excellent service for existing customers
  • Analyse market demographics and implement sales strategies tailored to customer segments
  • Drive channel profitability and satisfaction
  • Build strong relationships with Retailers and Field Sales Executives (FSEs)
  • Enhance partner value through marketing and merchandising initiatives
  • Prepare timely market intelligence resports on customer trends and competitor performance
  • Collaborate with the network team to improve mobile coverage in the territory

Skills Required

  • Strong execution and operational excellence
  • Ability to collaborate with large teams
  • Data analysis and insight generation
  • Consultation, facilitation and selling skills
  • Stakeholder management and persuasion
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office Excel)

Educational Qualification

  • Full-time graduate (MBA/PGDM preferred)

Work Experience

  • 2-7 years of sales experience
  • Preferably in Telecom or FMCG sector
