Job Title: US Onboarding & Compliance Manager

Experience: 37 Years

Location: GurugramOn Site

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented US Onboarding & Compliance Manager with 37 years of experience in US staffing. The candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process for candidates and ensuring full compliance with US employment laws and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding for candidates (W2, 1099, C2C) in the US staffing domain
  • Ensure completion and accuracy of onboarding documentation (I-9, W-4, contracts, etc.)
  • Verify candidate eligibility to work in the US and maintain proper documentation
  • Coordinate with recruiters, account managers, and clients for onboarding requirements
  • Handle background checks, drug screenings, and employment verifications
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and client-specific guidelines
  • Maintain and update compliance trackers, onboarding records, and audit reports
  • Manage E-Verify processes and resolve discrepancies (if applicable)
  • Ensure timely onboarding to meet project/client deadlines
  • Conduct regular audits of onboarding and compliance processes
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
  • Work with legal/HR teams to update policies as per changing US regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Legal (LLB) , HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • 37 years of experience in US Onboarding & Compliance within US Staffing
  • Strong knowledge of US employment laws and compliance requirements
  • Hands-on experience with I-9, E-Verify, W2/1099/C2C onboarding processes
  • Familiarity with onboarding and compliance tools/ATS systems
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple onboarding cases simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with VMS/MSP clients
  • Knowledge of state-specific compliance requirements
  • Exposure to audit handling and compliance reporting
  • HR certifications (optional but preferred)
