Job Description
Role & Responsibilities
We are looking for a young, dynamic Chartered Accountant with strong hands-on experience to independently manage the end-to-end finance and compliance function of an international subsidiary in India. This is a build-and-own mandate, not a supervisory role.
The role also offers a clear pathway to transition into management consulting with a focus on financial re-engineering and strategic advisory.
- Own and manage complete financial operations of the India subsidiary
- Maintain books of accounts end-to-end (transaction level to finalization)
- Prepare and finalize P&L, Balance Sheet, and financial reporting packs
- Handle direct & indirect taxation, filings, and compliance
- Interface with statutory authorities, auditors, and regulators
- Manage cross-border reporting and coordination with global stakeholders
- Ensure full regulatory compliance for an international subsidiary in India
- Build and strengthen financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
- 57 years of relevant experience
- Base qualification: B.Com or M.Com
- MBA (Finance / Strategy) will be given added preference
- Prior experience in start-ups / service businesses / international subsidiaries
- Must have:
- Independently handled finance & compliance for a small Indian subsidiary, OR
- Audited multiple companies of similar profile (start-ups / services / foreign subsidiaries)
- Strong grounding in end-to-end accounting, finalization, and statutory compliance
- Comfortable operating in a lean, high-ownership environment
