Principal Analog Circuit Design Engineer

Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad / Noida / Ahmedabad/ Chennai/ Mumbai/ Pune

Exp - 9+ Years

• Design and simulate analog and mixed-signal circuits from specifications
• Perform schematic entry and pre-layout/post-layout simulations across PVT corners
• Analyze gain, bandwidth, noise, linearity, stability, power, and area trade-offs
• Collaborate with layout teams on floorplanning, matching, and parasitic optimization
• Support silicon bring-up, lab characterization, and debug
• Document design assumptions, methodologies, and validation results
• Interface with digital, system, and verification teams for SoC integration

Principal Analog Circuit Design Engineer 10+ Years

• Define analog architecture and design strategy for complex SoCs and platforms
• Own end-to-end delivery from concept, design, and layout to silicon qualification
• Guide development of high-impact circuits including high-speed ADC/DACs, PLL/CDR, and power management
• Establish design methodologies, reuse strategies, and best practices
• Mentor analog designers and review designs across programs
• Interface with customers, foundries, and EDA vendors on design and silicon issues

Tools & Skills

• EDA Tools: Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE (XL/Assembler)
• Analysis: DC, AC, Transient, Noise, Stability, Monte-Carlo
• Design Domains: Op-Amps, Bandgaps, PLL/DLL/CDR, ADC/DAC, LDOs, DC-DC Converters
• Technology Nodes: 180nm to advanced FinFET (as applicable)
• Reliability: PVT variation, aging, ESD, EM
• Collaboration: Close interaction with layout, digital, and system teams
