Job Description
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software.
- Process and record financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable for timely payments and collections.
- Support audit preparation and provide required documentation.
- Maintain complete and confidential documentation of all financial transactions (cash, petty cash, banking, invoices, purchase orders, expense bills).
- Track and reconcile advance payments made to vendors, subcontractors, projects, and employees.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline invoicing, receipts, and payment processes.
- Stay updated with accounting standards and regulations.
- Minimum 6 months to 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho Books is an added advantage).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of taxation is a plus.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
