    Description

    We are looking for an organized and motivated HR Intern to support our sourcing and recruitment efforts. In this role, you will assist with sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, handling initial communication with candidates. This internship is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in the HR field.

    Graduate or postgraduate with strong English communication skills, confident in presenting to large audiences, proficient in Excel and MS Office, and open to making calls, including cold calling.

    Internship Duration and Structure

    Duration: 9 months (depending on role/sector)

     

    Candidate Eligibility

    Eligible:

     

    • Education: UG (BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA.)/PG (MA, MSc, MCom Only Graduates are eligible 2025 &2024 Passed outs are eligible )
    • Online/distance learners; finalyear fulltime UG/PG (separate guidance to be issued)
    • Willingness to travel and work from office.

     

    Ineligible:

    • Graduates/PGs from IIT, IIM, NLU, IISER, NID, IIIT, IISc
    • Holders of CA, CMA, CS, MBA (or equivalent), MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MPhil, PhD
    • Those under any Central/State apprenticeship/skill/internship scheme; those who have completed NATS/NAPS
    • Family income > 12 lakh (preceding FY) or any family member is a regular/permanent Government employee (Family = self, parents, spouse)

     

    Financial Support (DBT)

    • Monthly assistance: 9,000  900 by Company (CSR/own funds) + 8,100 by Government via DBT
    • Onetime incidental grant: 6,000 via DBT (3,000 within 15 days of joining; 3,000 within 15 days after 3 months)
    • Insurance: Govt provides life + personal accident cover (equivalent to PMJJBY + PMSBY)

     

    Process (Portal: pminternship.mca.gov.in)

    • Company roles (location, 9month duration, qualifications, benefits)
    • Candidates register via Aadhaar/eKYC; resume autogenerated
    • company selects and issues offers via portal
    • Candidate accepts; company confirms joining (triggers incidental grant DBT)
    • Company pays 900 monthly (upload by 5th); Govt pays 8,100 via DBT
    • Mentors assigned; Training Plan & Quarterly Performance Reports uploaded; attendance tracked
    • Completion certificate via portal (or Participation certificate if 50% tenure and dropout)
