Title : Software Test Engineer
Experience: 5- 10+ years

Job Description
The position is directly responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products
This role requires experience in API and Linux environment testing, UI testing, Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Agile methodologies
The role also requires extensive experience in QA methodologies and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Job Responsibilities
Review requirements and specifications and define test conditions
Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases
Work closely with the development teams to deliver business functionality on time with required quality that meets the acceptance criteria
Perform Linux and UI based testing to ensure seamless user experience
Having well-versed knowledge in using Linux and Network commands are additional plus
Implement and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Participating in internal and cross-team meetings, project scoping, functional reviews, Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Identify, document, and track defects and issues
Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
Estimate and perform risk analysis for quality delivery
Prepare and present test reports and metrics for management
Qualification:
Masters or bachelors degree in computer science, electronics engineering or related technologyadvanced degree preferred.
A minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience in the telecommunications and/or networking industry preferred.
